David L. Wiseman
David L. Wiseman is an attorney with expertise in traditional power, renewable energy development, permitting and governmental relations. Since joining GalatiBlek in 2007, Mr. Wiseman has assisted in representing clients and acted as lead counsel in permitting amendments through the California Energy Commission.

Mr. Wiseman reviews contracts to identify potential risk, and meets with representatives of local, state and federal agencies as well as other permitting authorities. He has worked directly on structuring and modifying permitting regulations, and contributed critical strategy and legal advice to meet client objectives. Projects on which he has worked on behalf of clients include the Humboldt Bay Repowering Project, Colusa Generating Station and the Canyon Power Plant.

After obtaining his B.A. degree from California State University, Sacramento, in 2002, he was awarded his juris doctor degree at Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, Calif. Mr. Wiseman is based at GalatiBlek’s office in Sacramento.
